My tile combo at the Tile Shop. |
So this is what I've been obsessing over lately, and I think I finally made a decision. I'm using white subway tile (3x6") for the shower surround, with these moss square mosaic tiles for an accent. On the floor are going to be matching moss penny rounds. These are all from the Tile Shop, though I think I'm going to try and buy the subway tiles off Craigslist or at a Restore-type place because I'm pretty sure I can get them cheaper than $5.99/sf.
On the shower floor, I was going to do more penny rounds, but I changed my mind when I saw this shower pan in a showroom in Rockville. It's the teak drain cover that did it.

This isn't as close up as I'd like, but check out that teak drain cover! (From Kohler's Web site) |
Then I'd probably put in a teak shower bench to match!
|
These are super expensive so maybe I'd get the kind that isn't attached to the wall. But this one is super cool. |

There are also some cool teak bath mats.

Overkill? |
Now I just need to think of
- vanity lighting
- whether to get a dual-flush toilet
- storage
- towel bars
- toilet paper holder
- shower tower for shampoo and stuff
- paint (of course I want Restoration Hardware's silver sage)
- trim
- pocket door
- recessed light fan (same as upstairs)
- mirror (or mirror/medicine cabinet?)
